We arrived at the store before 10am as it opened at 11am. A style where you write your name, order details, and company number on a sheet of paper at the entrance. Since it was December 30th, even though I was 10th in line, I was able to enter the store on my first go. The eel here is meaty and very delicious. It's a bit pricey at 3,800 yen, but it's a restaurant that makes you want to go again.

It's only open for lunch and closed on Sundays, so it gets very crowded on Saturdays, but you can easily get in on weekdays. Although reservations are not required, I ordered at the entrance, and the menu consisted of three types: Oju, Donburi, and Kabayaki, all for 3,800 yen. The rest is just drinks. The large, fragrant, plump and juicy eel bowl was extremely delicious.

A store you must visit when you come to Kagoshima. The meat is plump, the rice, sauce, soup, and the staff's service is excellent. I want to eat it right after I finish eating.

Wait a minute, it was the best eel ever! I was on my way from Ibusuki City in Kagoshima to the airport, so I decided to have lunch, and since Kagoshima is also famous for eel, I decided to come here. I read in the reviews that there was a long line, but on this day, it was around 1pm on a weekday and the wait time was about 10 minutes. The food is baked to order, so first go into the store and place your order. From there, I was asked to wait in the car for 10 minutes. As soon as I was called to my seat, I came out. The meat is thick and fluffy. I have never eaten eel that was so fluffy and chewy. Really It's so delicious that I'll definitely come back when I come to Kagoshima again.

The store opens at 11am, but I arrived before 10:30am and was the 10th one in! The restaurant isn't that big, so we got there before 12:00...but the quality is different from other eel restaurants, so be sure to check it out!

This is one of the most popular eel restaurants in Kagoshima, a major eel country. The location is in the mountains, which is difficult to reach by public transportation. Let's rent a car at Kagoshima Airport and go! The system is to park your car in a large parking lot with space for about 20 cars, write down the number of people and orders on a register at the store, and wait outside. I thought it would be a long wait since it was late, but it was a good deal on a weekday. I was let into the store in about 20 minutes. ●Eel bowl (3,800 yen) A huge eel on top of a bowl of rice! Comes with liver soup and pickles. I'm the type of person who saves delicious food for last, so when I eat eel, I start with the thinner end of the tail. Its thick flesh is strong enough to repel chopsticks. Since it is from Western Japan, it is simply grilled without steaming, so you might expect it to be crunchy, but it is soft and fluffy. The sauce has a strong flavor. The delicious kabayaki makes the rice more filling. It's definitely delicious, but it's not that surprising. While thinking this, I plunged into the other thicker piece on the side of the head. I was surprised when I ate it! His muscular body becomes even more plump. Although the skin is elastic, it is not hard to chew and has a pleasant texture. The eel itself is insanely delicious. The eel is not the elegant type, but it has a wild charm! And this price even though it has gone up recently. This must be a popular store. If I ever come to Kagoshima again, I definitely want to come. By the way, eel and rice are served separately.
